Our
Bolivian green coffee beans come from the Yungas Valley (Coroico,
Caranavi and Alto Beni regions.) These 100% Arabica beans are both
specialty and
premium grades and single-terroir.
We purchase our green coffee exclusively from our affiliate company,
Invalsa
Coffee®,
which stores them vacuum-packed at their temperature and humidity controlled
warehouses. Even though its green coffee has already built an
outstanding reputation, we cup all coffees before roasting.
Everything we sell, we drink (and or try) ourselves to ensure its
quality. Only then are we comfortable putting our name on it.

We
offer
five roasts:
House,
Specialty, Cumbre,
Grand,
and Decaf Blend.
House is for use everyday, anytime.
Specialty is for the discerning coffee
drinker who demands Specialty coffee. Cumbre, our
top Boliviano roast, uses green coffee vacuum-packed at origin and it
makes a top-notch espresso. Grand uses
award-winning (including Cup of Excellence®)
limited-stock, unique green coffees also vacuum-packed at origin.
Decaf Blend is our own blend
of organic South American beans, decaffeinated using the chemical-free
water process. Give them all a try and select
your favorite. We can also custom roast upon request. Call or email us. Since we roast one pound at a time, we can custom
roast any bean.
We
dedicate ourselves to roasting organic, Fair Trade®
and award-winning Bolivian coffee beans. We only use fluid-bed coffee
roasters, and we like to roast our beans slightly (even for espresso),
since Bolivian coffee has sweet, delicate flavor nuances that get lost
with over-roasting. Of course, we do also custom roast to order to
accommodate other personal tastes. Because we are New Englanders, we
also offer the classic New England Roast --light to medium brown,
dry surface, with its full-flavored, bold taste that is neither bitter
nor ashy. One of the most remarkable qualities of our Bolivian coffee
roasts is that they have no bitter aftertaste.
We stock and sell only high-quality Bolivian roasted
coffee. All of our coffee beans are organic.
All roasted coffee sold by us is artisan-roasted to order, which means
that we do not carry an inventory of roasted coffee beans (just waiting to
get stale). We are big enough to supply large accounts, but small
enough to roast individual orders. Roasting is done in the morning to
allow for our daily 3:30pm shipping deadline. Your beans will
be shipped the same day that they are roasted. You cannot get
fresher roasted coffee unless you roast it yourself! We always appreciate
