I once heard you shouldn't boil water for coffee or tea--do you know anything about that? It has something to do with taking oxygen out of the water, and thus the brew isn't as good. Another rumor is that it is best to make coffee from cold water. What do you think?

Hello! When I go to La Paz I always drink the very thick coffee, akin to chocolate. In hotels it is also served with a hot water jar on the side in case you want to dilute it (something I never do). What makes it so thick and is this the type of coffee you sell? Thanks

Could you tell me the best way to store coffee? I have coffee tins that contained coffee when I purchased them. They have a screw top lid. Is it better to store coffee in one of these containers or keep the coffee in your foil bags?

My favorite coffee at the moment is Trader Joe's Free Trade Organic Bolivian Blend coffee. I had never heard of Bolivian coffee before, but when I mentioned it to my Bolivian brother-in-law he told me his parents have a home in the coffee region. Since I'm out of the Trader Joe's coffee and getting by on Dunkin Donuts bean coffee (yuk), I'd like to order a couple of pounds of some of your fresh roasted coffee. The choices on your site are a little overwhelming and I'm not really sure what type of roast to ask for. Would you mind giving me a recommendation? I generally make my coffee pretty strong and stick it in a Thermos to pour into a mug while I'm at work. On an unrelated note I am a real fan of wonderful chocolate. Valhrona is my standard in taste, but I'm interested in finding really terrific organic and/or fair trade chocolate and cocoa powder. I've never heard of Bolivian chocolate. Is there such a thing?

I don't know how to start asking this question about Bolivian Coffee Roasts. I've had Bolivian Coffee before and didn't care for the dark roast but loved the light roasts. When ordering your roasted beans, is it better to get light roasted or master roasted choice? What beans are better when they are roasted light or medium? Please help me, I'm lost! Thanks a lot and have a nice day!

Actually, your service of delivery was good. As for the quality of the beans or the flavor, it was not to my expectation. I've tried to roast in different ways to extract the kind of flavor I was looking for, but it's not to my liking. So, I have still about 3/4 of the bag remaining. I'm wondering if you'd be willing to take back the remaining for an exchange for your other beans. I'd be willing to cover the shipping. Please let me know if this is a possibility. I'd want Sumatra

I did taste the Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee from Mavis Bank which is Excellent Mild. Also Kenya, Colombia Narino Supremo, Guatemala Antigua and Sumatra which all these are from Starbucks. And Kona Coffee from Kona Mountain which the taste and aroma are quite similar with Sumatra Coffee. How is the Bolivian Coffee taste?
