We roast our artisan, small-batch coffee the next business-day morning after we receive your payment.  We will ship it fresh that afternoon. Please use the shipping calculator to calculate your actual costs. In the US (all 50 states), your freshly-roasted coffee will be sent via FedEx Ground or Priority Mail, depending on your location, to ensure that you receive it in up to three business days. For other international locations we will use Priority Mail International or Express Mail International (EMS), as per your stated preference.  If no preference is indicated. all international orders will ship via EMS. 

For orders not involving roasted coffee, we normally ship, via FedEx or USPS, the same business day payment is received, if payment is received before 2:00pm (EST). Otherwise, we ship the following business day.  If you want a guaranty that your order will be shipped the same day we receive payment prior to 2:00pm, we charge an "expedited shipment handling fee" of $7.50/box.

We will be happy to use your FedEx or UPS account.  In such case there will be a $5/box packing and handling fee. 

Finally, because the disappointment and pain of having your order received damaged (or not received at all!) is significantly greater that the cost of insurance we require insurance on all orders of $50 (including shipping charges) or more. The nominal cost of insurance will be automatically added to your order as you proceed with the checkout before you confirm it.
