Fresh Roasted K-Cups 10 cups

Fresh Roasted K-Cups 10 cups

These are our NEW K-Cups of our best seller roasted coffee.  These are the same beans as our 100% Organic Bolivian Flagship House Roast.  So why are now offering K-cups?

The K-cup revolution made great improvements in convenience and cleanliness. No mess, no clean up. Just press the button. OK. I am ignoring the landfill problem created by the the throw away K-cups. But that is a topic for another day. The problem with K-cups is that  i almost all cases the coffee is stale. The K-cup that you buy has probably been moving around or sitting somewhere for 6-months before you actually get to brew it. Remember a mediocre coffee bean freshly roasted will be better that a great bean that is stale (over 3 months since roasting). That is why all our coffees come with a Roast Date. None of this "Best before".

Our K-cups are different because we roast the coffee when you place the order, we package the K-cups ourselves and we deliver it in a sealed valved bag. BTW, our K-cups are biodegradable. So get the convenience of a K-cup but use fresh-roasted coffee.

Cup Notes: 86.5 points. AROMA/FLAVOR: Dark chocolate, molasses, toasted bread, apple pie, fruit cake. ACIDiTY:  effervescent citric.  OTHER: Full flavor, complex and well structured, super smooth, velvety finish. A delight.

These coffee beans come from several farms in the Caranavi Province of Bolivia. Since 2005, we have been buying cupped-by the bag coffee at guaranteed minimum prices, based on quality and as part of a multi-year contract from several farmers, many times buying all of their production. We are very happy with our long term relationship with them and we have already seen significant improvements in the quality of their coffee and the lives of the farmers. We are proud to be the main source and inspiration for both improvements. We also pay for their organic certification

This coffee is shade-grown in the higher altitudes of the Caranavi Province. It was de-pulped and washed using pure Andes mountain spring water, sun-dried on wooden table tops, and hand sorted by "palliris", Aymara women food graders.
